Sleep Routines (Jan. 19-23 Focus)
For the months of January and February, our CYW Kristin and Public Health Nurse Katrina are working together to help our students build healthy daily routines. Every week, for the next 4 weeks, we will talk about a different part of daily routines and have a new weekly challenge for your family to try.
This week, we are going to talk about sleep! Did you know that screen time before bed can make it harder for both kids and adults to fall asleep?
Our weekly challenge is to try turning off screens for 30-60 minutes before bed every night. Instead – try listening to music, stretching, reading a book, or just chatting about your day, to help your family relax before sleeping.
